Engage Newport Sea Aware Event: Newport’s Waterfront and Sea Level Rise
TUESDAY MARCH 4th
6 PM to 8 PM

The City of Newport will be hosting an Engage Newport Public Event to discuss the topic of Sea Level Rise and its impact on Newport. Newport’s Waterfront and Sea Level Rise – What have been the impacts and lessons learned from recent major weather events and what we can work toward in the future?  – will be held Tuesday March 4, 2014, at the Newport Yacht Club from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Newport residents and business owners are invited to attend this event to learn about the impacts of rising sea levels, the lessons learned to date and what solutions can be developed for the future with this information.
