Join the URI Coastal Resources Center and Rhode Island Sea Grant for a public meeting (6 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015, Corless Auditorium, URI Bay Campus, Narragansett, RI) to examine how emerging state guidance – the Rhode Island Shoreline Change Special Area Management Plan (Beach SAMP), a product of the Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC), offers coastal communities tools and practices for meeting the challenges of erosion and flooding – key impacts of storms and sea level rise associated with the changing climate.
