NK Residents Living Near Water Told To ‘Know Your Risk’ – Government – North Kingstown, RI Patch
The North Kingstown Patch recaps last week’s public meeting, “Preparing North Kingstown for Rising Tides”, which addressed the town’s flood risk and provided information to residents regarding flood insurance, climate-change, and adaptation strategies. The town is currently working with URI Coastal Resources Center and Rhode Island Sea Grant in a pilot climate-change and adaptation program.
