R.I. officials get update on plan to preserve state’s coastline | The Providence Journal
Earlier this month, Rhode Island officials, agency representatives and stakeholders met to discuss the state’s response to its changing coast as well as the development of the Shoreline Change Special Area Management Plan (Beach SAMP). Grover Fugate, Executive Director of the Coastal Resources Management Council and a member of the Beach SAMP management team, presented the latest information on the SAMP to an audience of about 50 people.
